Submit a Referral

Our Referral Form is a useful tool created to connect community members to our partner agencies for Intervention and Prevention services. Upon successful completion of the form, the agency representative that serves the area of the prospective participant will be in contact to provide further information.

In order for youth to be eligible for GRYD Prevention services, referrals to the program must meet the following criteria:

  • Youth must be between ages 10 and 15 years old; and 
  • Exhibit 2 or more of the following risk factors: 1. Antisocial Tendencies  2. Weak Parental Supervision 3. Critical Life Events  4. Impulsive Risk Taking 5. Guilt Neutralization 6. Negative Peer Influence  7. Peer Delinquency  8. Family Gang Influence  9. Self-Reported Delinquency

In order to be eligible for GRYD Intervention services, referrals to the program must meet the following criteria:

  • Referrals must be between the ages of 14 – 25;
  • Be a tagger or member/affiliate of a gang or crew.

GRYD Diversion Services (Rampart, Hollenbeck, Central, and Southeast Divisions ONLY)

The goals of GRYD Diversion are to 1) connect youth who would otherwise have been arrested to community-based case management and trauma-informed programs in lieu of arrest; 2) improve youth's stability measures, social and emotional wellbeing, and other protective factors; 3) and reduce further involvement in the justice system.

In order for youth to be eligible for GRYD Diversion services, referrals to the program must meet the following criteria:

  • Youth are referred by LAPD in lieu of arrest (pre-arrest booking) involving a non-707(b) offense;
  • Contact between Youth and LAPD takes place in LAPD Rampart, Hollenbeck, Central, and Southeast Divisions; and
  • Youth must be between ages 12 and 18 years old.
